Beacon Jiu Jitsu is a new academy based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, built with a clear focus on modern no gi grappling and competitive development. While we are a newer team, our approach is intentional and current, emphasizing skill acquisition that translates directly to live rounds and competition. Our teaching is primarily rooted in Constraints Led Approach (CLA). Instead of relying on long, static drilling, we use games and specific training scenarios that encourage problem solving, adaptability, and real-time decision making. The goal is to help students develop timing, awareness, and control under pressure rather than memorizing techniques in isolation.
